Multi-Tasking Is Not For Sissies

For chef’s like Gordon Ramsay, multi-tasking is a way of life! For a busy working mom like me, there really is no choice but learn how to ‘multi-task’ in order to get everything done! Do any of us ever do one thing at a time anymore? Despite the fact that it often leads to sub-par quality of work and added stress, we are all guilty of multitasking. But multi-tasking is not for sissies! My husband is a very hard worker, but he really is incapable of multi-taking at all. He is a ‘focus on one thing only’ kind of guy. He loses his concentration and is overwhelmed by even the thought of doing more than one thing at a time! Why do we do it, even when research — and personal experience — shows it doesn’t really work?
