It looks like the new pop artist formerly known as a ‘country girl’ will indeed be serving as a mentor on this season of The Voice! US Weekly in an exclusive reveal has confirmed that Taylor Swift has a new big gig, signing on for a role with The Voice!
Swift’s new single “Shake It Off” is “a pure pop-center-sound song” that “fits right in” alongside music from the likes of Katy Perry and Ariana Grande.
It was the live debut of “Shake It Off,” the first single from her new album 1989.
“If you look at it carefully, it’s a massively inclusive piece. It’s very, very innocently and positively intentioned. And — let’s remember — it’s a satirical piece.”
Empowered female artist and expert relationship songwriter Taylor Swift is done writing about her exes— at least for now.
Before director Mark Romanek was helping Taylor Swift shake it off, he was making videos for the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Lenny Kravitz and more.

Taylor Swift wasted no time in premiering a new song during her Yahoo livestream Monday night (Aug. 18).
