Seemingly emotional but delivered with perfection, watch their performance below.

Blake and Miranda have had a trying start to 2012, as Blake’s father passed away on January 17th, and Miranda lost a longtime friend, followed by the loss of her dog, just days ago.

She has some tough competition from past Half Time performers. So because of that, I’m going to countdown the top five best Super Bowl Halftime performances.

The Super Bowl halftime show has become a much ballyhooed fifteen minute performance in which some great performers deliver spellbinding sets and others simply embarrass themselves.

5. Nsync, Aerosmith, Britney Spears, Nelly, and Mary J. Blige – Super Bowl XXV (2001)

In 2001, you’d have been hard pressed to find a boy band bigger than Nsync. Fresh off selling two million copies of their album in a week, Justin and the others were on top of the world. Aerosmith were experiencing a resurgence in their careers due to their hit, “Jaded,” which led to the two bands collaborating. Britney Spears got to perform simply because she and Timberlake were hot and heavy at the time. Nelly and Mary J. Blige make brief appearances to rock out on “Walk This Way.” Even if you hated bubblegum pop music, you gave it a pass for this electrifying show.

This Super Bowl spot for Sketcher’s is getting a lot of attention, for several reasons. 1) Sketcher’s ditched former spokeswoman Kim Kardashian, and replaced her with a dog. 2) The commercial featuring “Mr. Quiggly,” a bulldog wearing Sketcher’s running shoes, as he competes in a race against Greyhounds at a race track, which has animal advocates upset because they feel it glorifies Greyhound racing. 3) It may be the funniest ‘leaked commercial’ so far! I like to ‘mix it up’ and make different stuff when I have a party, like this fruit bowl I made one time, that made me feel like Martha Stewart! If you’re picking up pizza for your Super Bowl gathering this weekend, you are not alone! It’s one of the most popular Super Bowl food choices. Papa John’s Pizza says it hopes to sell more than one million pizzas on Sunday. That adds up to about 8 million slices on game day. If you’re hosting a party like me this Sunday, what’s on your game day menu?

Everyone likes pizza, but the king of Super Bowl snacks is potato chips. Nearly 46 million pounds of chips are sold in the run up to the game. Add in other snack foods, like tortilla chips, pretzels and popcorn, and we’re talking about nearly 177 million pounds of snacks sold on Super Sunday.

We host an annual Super Bowl party at our house and we have TONS of food, because all my friends bring an appetizer! Our huge buffet table on game day always includes: Chili dogs, White Castle cheeseburgers, chicken wings & tenders, my ‘famous Mexican dip’ with nacho chips, shrimp cocktail and a ‘little bit of healthy’ with a veggie tray! Then as my friends arrive, the buffet table gets even bigger!

My “Famous Mexican Dip” is so quick & easy and a big crowd pleaser! If you would like to try it, here’s the recipe!

Take one large tub of ‘soft’ cream cheese and spread evenly over large round plate.Cover cream cheese with a small jar of ‘hot’ chunky salsa. Cover salsa with 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Then top with evenly scattered: chopped onions, tomato’s and green peppers.

It is so colorful & delicious! Trust me, you will end up with an empty plate well before the end of the game! What’s a ‘must have’ on your Super Bowl snack list?

According to reports, an estimated 34.9 million Americans will throw a Super Bowl party this year. And 61.2 million people will attend one. If you’re hosting a party and thinking of buying a big screen TV before Sunday, you may want to wait if you want a better deal!

Experts say that if your thinking of buying a new TV for the big day, it might be best to wait.

Stores mark down TVs by about 20% before the Super Bowl, sometimes even 30%. But CNN Money reports that the discounts will only get bigger next month. New TV models tend to be released to market in late January and February, which means retailers will cut the prices on last year’s models at the beginning of March.

The Super Bowl Is More Than Football

I know for myself being a HUGE fan of the NFL, Super Bowl Weekend is a weekend I look forward to every year. It doesn’t matter that the Detroit Lions are not playing in the game, even though I know that day is drawing closer, because I love football! For most people, Super Bowl Weekend is more than a football game. It’s a time to party, hang out with friends, partake in Super Bowl Squares and watch what has come to be a BILLION DOLLAR weekend in commercial revenue! That’s right Super Bowl commercials are,for some people, more important that the game!

Man Gives Away His Ex’s Super Bowl Tickets!

The end of 2011 was not an easy one for Jason Elia. In November, Jason was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Promptly after the diagnosis, his girlfriend actually broke up with him. What makes things hard, Jason actually was going to propose to his girlfriend, and he actually spent $8,000 on two tickets to the Super Bowl for him and his girlfriend. Sad thing is, she demanded to keep the tickets!

According to NBC, when Elia’s girlfriend broke up with him, she insisted it was because she couldn’t deal with a boyfriend with cancer. But she still wants the Super Bowl tickets!

“Her argument is simple: I bought them with her in mind, so she should get them. Screw the breakup.”

Since giving the tickets to the ex-girlfriend was out of the question, Elia decided to just give away the pair of tickets to the game! He took to his Twitter account to see who could get him the most followers, and whoever did, won. It was that simple!
