According to The Tennessean, Musgraves will co-produce and write the album with Luke Laird and Shane McAnally.

Taking place Sept. 8 in Nashville, the ACM Honors is an annual showcase paying tribute to special award recipients including Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, Kris Kristofferson and the late “Cowboy” Jack Clement.

When gearing up for the GRAMMY Awards last year, Radio.com interviewed songwriter Ali Tamposi whose “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” garnered three GRAMMY nominations including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance by Kelly Clarkson.
“I thought it’ll be a cool, intimate evening on a large scale for people to learn something about songs they love,” Urban told Radio.com about tonight’s concert, which benefits the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
“I’m so proud to be here representing country music,” Musgraves said from the stage. “And I just want to ‘cheers’ everybody in this room that ‘follows their arrow.'”
“Regardless of your political beliefs, everybody should be able to love who they want to love and live how they want to live,” Musgraves told Radio.com.
