The Season 12 American Idol is: Candice Glover! And I think America got it right, even though I predicted from day one that I thought runner-up, country singer Kree Harrison would win. I still watch American Idol, and still love the show. I love the idea of giving kids who would not otherwise have any chance of being ‘discovered’ a chance at stardom! But truth be told, I am not all that thrilled with Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey and all the distracting cat-fighting going on between the two of them. This new season of American Idol has a lot of former contestants weighing in on the new judges, and many are just ‘not feeling it’ anymore. Jennifer Hudson who got her start on Idol, is speaking out about the show and says it needs to end now, ‘while it’s still on top.’ You agree or disagree?
