After spending the last couple years on the road supporting superstars like Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen finally setting out on his own headlining tour this year.
“I remember we just started with the word ‘dust,’ we wanted to do something with that,” Eli Young Band bassist Jon Jones told Radio.com about the song. Watch the new music video.
“Dust” was shot on a homemade dirt track that was created especially for this project. “It’s taken a massive amount of people to make this happen but it’s pretty exciting,” director Peter Zavadil said in a behind-the-scenes video.
The Eli Young Band explain that their recent performance at the ACM Presents: All Star Salute To The Troops was deeply personal to them on many levels! The hard-working Texas group has been gaining a new level of career visibility in recent years, thanks to hit songs “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” “Crazy Girl” and most recently “Drunk Last Night.” Now they are set to reach even higher with new album “10,000 Towns.”
“It felt like that Friday night anthem that our band has never really had and this song accomplishes that without being cliche,” Mike Eli said.
