Oakland Warehouse Manager Explodes in Bizarre Interview Following Tragic Fire

When the devastating news broke over the weekend about the warehouse fire that killed 36 people in Oakland, CA, questions immediately surfaced about the buildings structure.  Was it a dangerous situation to begin with?  When innocent people die someone needs to be held accountable.

During a live interview on The Today Show things quickly fell apart with Derick Ion Almena, the art commune director, when Matt Lauer asked the tough questions people want to know.  You can tell that Almena was speaking from the heart and defending his warehouse.

Almena was very annoyed with Lauer.  At one point yelling at him,  “I would rather get on the floor and be trampled by the parents! I’d rather let them tear at my flesh than answer these ridiculous questions!”

Check it out and let me know what you think.  Was Lauer too rough with these questions or are these questions that needed to be answered?
