Tim Allen Calls Hollywood Hypocritical for Bashing Donald Trump

By: Annie Scaramuzzino

Tim Allen isn’t ‘standing’ for the bullying of Donald Trump.

The actor/comedian was recently guesting on the Fox News show The Kelly File when he opened up about Hollywood bashing the president elect.

“What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully,” he explained. “But if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And it gets a little bit hypocritical to me.”

As far as his own politics go, Allen tells host Megyn Kelly that his character on Last Man Standing is conservative, but the show is “written by liberals.”

“I’m really an anarchist,” he added. “As a comedian, I don’t want anyone to tell me what to do. Period.”

Still, Allen doesn’t say that he fully supports Trump, likening him to a “new talent comedian” with “great material” but “terrible timing.”

“He may in fact be a guy who wants to be funnier than he is,” he said.
