Miranda Lambert is set to release her new double album, “The Weight of These Wings,” on Friday. The album album’s two records are labeled “The Nerve” and “The Heart” and in case you missed it, Miranda has explained her feelings on what “The Nerve” means to her.
In a post on Instagram, Miranda first reads the definition of the word “Nerve,” noting it “is one of the many thin parts that control movement and feeling by carrying messages between the brain and other parts of the body,” as well as something that gives you “courage” and the “rude attitude” that can make someone “upset or angry.”
“I found that interesting because … it’s so much deeper than part of your body. It’s part of your being,” she says. “It’s part of your being to have nerve at all. And if you’re gonna have it, you’re gonna feel some pain from it. But you’re gonna feel some great stuff too.” Check out Miranda’s explanation to the right.
