Maddie & Tae’s Maddie Marlow Calls Out Online Bullies

Tensions are certainly running high following this week’s presidential election and Maddie & Tae’s Maddie Marlow has called out folks on her social media page who seem to be bullying other users.

In a post on Instagram, Maddie reveals that she’s unfriended “about 50 people I actually liked as human beings” because of all the divisiveness over the election. “Did you know that everyone is allowed to think differently? And guess what? Just because someone has a different political view or opinion than you DOESN’T MAKE THEM A BAD PERSON,” she writes. “Maybe Trump was your vote or maybe he wasn’t. Either way it’s no excuse to be an a–hole.”

In going after folks bullying users for having differing opinions than theirs she writes, “GOD FORBID you experience diversity here on Earth. I know it’s a sensitive subject, but how about making the change starting with ourselves and be a good human being.”

Finally she adds, “If your political views define who you are as a human and you can’t stand to have friends that have different views than you than you need to reevaluate, my friend.”
