Garth Brooks fans can finally stream his music online. The singer has signed an exclusive deal with Amazon, which has now made his music available on their Amazon Music service.
So far, subscribers to their Amazon Music Unlimited package can listen to his new single “Baby, Let’s Lay Down and Dance,” as well as tracks from “2007’s “Ultimate Hits” and 1998’s “Double Live.” Later in the year “Christmas Together,” his holiday album with wife Trisha Yearwood, will also be made available, as will the rest of his catalog and his upcoming record “Gunslinger” but they will be a little delayed because of Garth’s exclusive deal with Target, who is releasing the 10-disc box set, “Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection.”
“It is a joy to work with a company that is all about the customer when it comes to service, and all about the music and its creators when it comes to the music,” Garth shares. “I applaud Amazon on their commitment to quality and thank them for this opportunity.”
As for GhostTunes, where Garth’s music has been available for download for the past two years, he tells “Billboard” that his music will probably be gone from there by the first of the year.
