Tom Cruise Allegedly Said He Can Run Faster Than Usain Bolt

By: Jon Corrigan

Cobie Smulders visited Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night and talked about training with Tom Cruise for their film Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.

Smulders explained how she set a personal goal to reach 22 mph on the treadmill, and the day she succeeded, she asked Cruise what his top speed was.

Cruise allegedly told her 31 mph.

… 31 mph?!?!

Usain Bolt’s top recorded speed is 27.8 mph, seen during the final 100 meters sprint of the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.

So, all due respect to Tom, but we’re calling BS.
