When I was a kid we used to take road trips down to Florida to see my grandparents and I always loved going to a few different places to eat since we didn’t have them in the mitten. Going to the Waffle House for everyone down south is like going to Coney Island here, but for me it was such a special place. We only made it down there once every few years, which always made it great!
I also remember the first time I had Chic-fil-A. I was down in Houston visiting my sister while she was going to grad school at the University of Houston. This time, even as an adult, I was super pumped to eat at what would be equivalent to a KFC here at home. Or at least I thought. That was some of the best fast food I’ve ever had!! Since then the only time I’ve had Chic-fil-A in Michigan is at the airport. This is why I couldn’t be more excited to hear the news of two new Chic-fil-A locations opening in Michigan!
The first location opened today on W. Saginaw Highway in Lansing and the second opens TOMORROW at Somerset Collection in Troy at 10am!!! Now all we need is some “In and Out Burgers” and we’ll be all set!
I’m really jealous of this guy from Mlive who got to preview everything…
