A Message To The ‘Creepy Clowns’

Dear ‘Creepy Clowns’: By Rob Stone

In the world we live in today, it’s all about fame. How many facebook friends can I get? How many Twitter followers do I have? What can I do to make the next viral video in order to get my 15 minutes of fame and maybe even become a celebrity?

It seems the ‘Creepy Clown’ craze is just another way for people to get their fame. It’s easy right? The news covers a clown story every single day. So all you have to do is dress up, record a video and post it online. But unlike others who want the recognition for the video, these masked clowns are still unknown. So what is the motive? Why has it become a nation and possibly even worldwide epidemic?

It comes down to yet another ‘copy cat’ situation. One person starts a trend and others follow. It’s nothing new and we’eve seen it before. So now the question is, how do we stop it? I do believe it’s just another fad that will eventually fade away, but before it does, I’d like to offer up one piece of advice for all you ‘creepy clowns’ that may help with all your free time of terrorizing.

Here it is…

“Nah nah why don’t you get a job!”
