Tim McGraw And Faith Hill Are Excited For New Tour, But Not The Kids Leaving For College

It was announced that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are going back on tour next year. The Soul2Soul Tour will make its way to The Palace of Auburn Hills in September of 2017.

Tim and Faith join Chuck, Rachael and Grunwald for a great conversation about touring together, sending two of their three girls off to college and we celebrated their 20 years of marriage together!

Rachael Hunter and Faith talked about what they felt when sending their daughters off to college. Rachael says, “When my daughter left, I was borderline needing medication. It hurt.” Faith responded, “It was tough.” Tim added, “Faith and Maggie did a cross country trip to take her to college … It was odd, because there was two or three days that Faith and I didn’t really talk to each other because we were scared to engage in conversation because knew we would sort of fall apart.”

Now that two of their girls are off to college and their third is in high school, Tim and Faith said this was the right time to go back on tour. “We always talked about touring together — 06, 07 were the last years we were out together. Faith is always working on the kids’ schedule, what the highlights of their year are, and things we need to make sure we are there for. When we laid the schedule out we decided this is the right year to tour.”
