American Horror Story Renewed for Seventh Season

American Horror Story” fans will be happy to know the “FX” series has been picked up for a seventh season. CEO of FX Networks and FX Productions, John Landgraf, says the renewal is well deserved.

“The sustained success through six installments only proves how intensely the series resonates with fans. AHS confronts our deepest fears with unmatched suspense and style,” he said in a statement. “Each new installment is a cultural event, hotly anticipated for its theme, imagery, cast and twists.”

The people agree – the series has brought in 15 Emmys and counting. What can we expect? No one’s really sure. No one’s giving up plot details, but co-creator Ryan Murphy has said he has the theme in mind and is already looking ahead at season eight. A secret season is also in the works!

We’ll keep you posted as details emerge. “American Horror Story: Roanoke” airs Wednesdays at 10pm on FX.
