Miranda Lambert Loves Her Some Britney and Beyoncé

"I've been able to sit back and get inspired."

Miranda Lambert has been unwinding ever since wrapping up her Keeper of the Flame tour in September, which ended early after she canceled the last three stops following doctor’s orders. On Instagram, she shared what she’s been listening to while resting and preparing to release her new album The Weight of These Wings.

Lambert posted a picture of a fire pit, and detailed all the music that has revitalized her in the caption. “After a few weeks of down time and in my road- weary haze after tour, I’ve been able to sit back and get inspired,” she wrote. Lambert mentioned how she worked out to Britney Spears’ 2013 song “Work B–ch” and had become obsessed with Beyoncé’s album Lemonade again. Besides that pop music, she also caught a few shows at Americana Fest and Pilgrimage Festival, and attended her boyfriend Anderson East’s concert in Chicago.

Besides catching up on live shows and albums, Lambert was able to be there for her grandmother’s 80th birthday. She wrote how the guests were “All over 65 and full of life, love, and stories that can’t be repeated! (Or shouldn’t be on social media for sure😁) needless to say…What a life.”

All in all, spending time with family and with an array of music seems to have done Lambert good. “Thanks music. IOU several…🍻🍷🎂💗👏🦄” she wrote at the end.

" She keeps the home fires burning" - Ronnie Milsap After a few weeks of down time and in my road- weary haze after tour, I've been able to sit back and get inspired. I saw @johnmoreland at @americanafest in Nashville, @andersoneast and @lakestreetdive at the @chicagotheatre , attended the @pilgrimagefestival in Franklin TN, preordered my friend @brent_cobb album "Shine On Rainy Day" (it's amazing and will be released Oct 7) ...had beers with my friend @aubriesellers in Texas, worked out to @britneyspears "Work Bitch", obsessed over Lemonade... AGAIN! @beyonce . And above all...I got to celebrate with my Nonny (mom's mom) on her 80th bday with her and 14 of her best gal pals. All over 65 and full of life, love, and stories that can't be repeated! (Or shouldn't be on social media for sure😁) needless to say...What a life. Thanks music. IOU several...🍻🍷🎂💗👏🦄#keeperoftheflame #allworkallplay #musicismedicine #theweightofthesewings #tourlifestyle #downtimeatwork #windycity #namedropping #grandmasandguitars #anchor⚓️
