Colt Ford Has Wild Idea For Hamburger Helper Drive-Thru’s

This past weekend, Colt Ford joined Brantley Gilbert and Justin Moore for the Take It Outside Tour. After his set was done, Colt had Grunwald on his bus to talk about Colt’s new music, including his latest single, 4 Lane Gone. Colt says of the song, “I’m trying to push myself as an artist. You’re trying to evolve, but I don’t wanna lose who I am. I think I’ve done that, it’s me completely singing.” The song, though it sounds like a sad song, Colt says it’s really not. “He’s not saying they are broke up. She’s saying “I’ve gotta chase my dream” and he’s saying “I’m coming, I’m taking a shortcut and I got stuck” It seems to be a pattern with him.”

With Halloween coming soon, Grunwald had to ask if Colt will do what many parents do and that is steal the kids candy. Colt says that he doesn’t eat sweets, so he wouldn’t. When asked what his vice is, food wise, Colt says Hamburger Helper is that weakness. “I’m a Cheeseburger and Hamburger Helper guy. I could wake up and eat Hamburger Helper, that would suit me just fine.” Colt also says he really, really wants them to sponsor his tour! “I really think there should be a Hamburger Helper fast food restaurant. Imagine having a family of 4 and choosing from 15 different flavors!?”
