Billy Gilman Wows On “The Voice”

Billy Gilman is getting a second shot at a career. As we previously told you, Billy recently revealed that he tried out for NBC’s “The Voice,” and turns out he wowed the coaches with his audition.

Billy performed Adele’s “When We Were Young,” with Adam Levine the first to turn his chair, before Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton all joined in. When they saw his face, Blake immediately realized that he knew Billy from when he was younger, while Billy told Miley that he had actually opened for her father Billy Ray Cyrus.

So, with four coaches to choose from, who did he pick? Although it was a tough decision he eventually decided to go with Adam, calling the audition the “most validating thing” to ever happen to him.
