Keith Urban Helps Keep Music In The Schools

Keith Urban wants to make sure kids get exposed to music in the schools, so he’s recorded a public service announcement for the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, which donates musical instruments to disadvantaged schools.

The name of the foundation may sound familiar to moviegoers. Back in 1995, Richard Dreyfuss starred in the film “Mr. Holland’s Opus,” which told the story of music teacher Glenn Holland, who did all he can to keep music in schools despite shrinking budgets.
