Jana Kramer Dances to ‘One Tree Hill’ Theme Song on ‘DWTS’ Despite Injury

By: Jon Corrigan

Not even an injury could prevent Jana Kramer from revisiting her TV roots this week on Dancing with the Stars.

The country singer, who formerly acted onĀ One Tree Hill, danced to the show’s theme song “I Don’t Want to Be” just days after injuring herself in practice.

“I went to the doctors and found out that I have torn muscles in between my ribs. The doctor says I shouldn’t dance,” Jana shared before performing in the ballroom. “I’m very worried that we’re not going to be able to get through the dance. I don’t want to leave the second weekend.”

Kramer’s dancing partner, Gleb Savchenko, coupled with a live musical performance from Gavin DeGraw, helped her through.

Dancing With the Stars airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC.
