Kelsea Ballerini Makes Chart History

Kelsea Ballerini has just done something no other female country singer has ever done. Kelsea’s latest track “Peter Pan” currently tops both the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, making her the first solo female to top both charts in the same week.

“To finally release my favorite song off my album was already enough for me. But to know that we just made history with it is bigger than I could have ever dreamed,” Kelsea shares with “Billboard.” “Honestly, being the first woman to do this just inspires me to work hard and to make the best music I can.”

  • And if that isn’t a big enough feat for you, by nabbing number one on the Hot Country Songs chart, “Peter Pan,” dethrones Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.,” which has been in the top position for the past 18 weeks. In addition, the track is the third from her debut album, “The First Time,” to land at number one after “Love Me Like You Mean It,” and “Dibs.”
