These Maps are Your Guide to Fall Foliage in Michigan

By: Jon Corrigan

Now that summer has – unofficially – ended, let’s embrace the best thing autumn has to offer: Fall foliage.

An interactive map – broken down into a series of maps below – created by SmokyMountains.com provides week-by-week predictions of peak fall foliage across the U.S., from Aug. 29 through Nov. 14.

The map is meant to provide travelers the best opportunity of catching the most vibrant autumn colors in regions across the country.

If these predictions hold true, southeast Michigan is just a week away from seeing some color!
