Gene Wilder, star of Hollywood classics like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, has died at 83, his family says.
The legendary actor was married to Saturday Night Live star Gilda Radner from 1984 until she passed away from ovarian cancer in 1989. He would tie the knot again in 1991, marrying Karen Boyer.
Wilder is also survived by his daughter, Kathryn, whom he adopted in 1967 when he married her mother Mary Joan Schute.
Wilder reportedly died of complications from Alzheimer’s disease.
