Florida Georgia Line have taken to social to address an alleged incident involving police at a concert over the weekend.

The band tweeted the following statement from their official account:

Hey guys, we’ve just been made aware something happened at a show this weekend involving a police officer. We want you to know that we have nothing but love and respect for the police. We are bummed anyone ever got a different impression. – Tyler & Brian

TMZ reports that the group did not allow uniformed officers backstage at an Iowa concert, and then requested a police escort out of town.
