The Target obsession might soon spread to Detroit in a big way!
The Detroit Free Press reports that the popular retail chain has plans to open a huge development in Midtown at Woodward and Mack, close to the Whole Foods.
Sources dished that the 9-acre development would feature a 25,000 square-foot store, plus another 25,000 square-feet of retail and restaurants.
As if that wasn’t enough, the project could also possibly include “a new 560-space parking deck and potential space for a new hotel, offices and student housing.”
Although reps for the retailer did not confirm or deny the rumors of a Detroit Target, insiders have said that the development could open as soon as 2018.
