Cabela’s is expected to open a Chesterfield Township location sometime in 2017.
The Nebraska-based retailer, specializing in hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, announced the new 90,000-square-foot location will be at the intersection of Hall Road and I-94.
The new store will also create 175 full-time, part-time and seasonal jobs.
“Chesterfield Township and the surrounding area offer remarkable opportunities for outdoor recreation, and people in that region utilize those opportunities to live an outdoor lifestyle,” Tommy Millner, Cabela’s Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement. “We are extremely eager to build them a Cabela’s store and help them enjoy their outdoor passions.”
This will be Cabela’s fourth store in Michigan, with locations already in Dundee, Saginaw and Grandville.
