Country Community Offers Condolences To Craig Morgan


As we previously told you, the body of Craig Morgan’s son Jerry Greer has been recovered from Kentucky Lake in Humphreys County, Tennessee following a Sunday boating accident.

Authorities have said that they aren’t sure why Jerry didn’t surface following the accident, considering he was wearing a life-vest, although they did acknowledge that it wasn’t one that was Coast Guard approved. “He was legal because of what he was doing and the operator had proper life jackets on board, but the jacket itself was one that many skiers and wave board users wear,” a rep for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency told People.  “As an agency, we prefer jackets that have the Coast Guard approval.”

Since confirmation of the 19-year-old’s death was announced, several country stars have taken to social media to offer their condolences to Craig and his family, with Brad Paisley among the first to reach out. Others to express their sorrow for Craig include:
