UPDATE: Craig Morgan’s 19 Year-Old-Son Jerry, Has Died In Boating Accident


UPDATE (10:50p) The body of 19-year-old Jerry Greer, son of country singer Craig Morgan, has been recovered from Kentucky Lake, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.


UPDATE (10:20a): According to updated reports, the 2 men were tubing when they collided and were both thrown from the tubes. Both were wearing life jackets. The incident happened around 4 pm Sunday. The search mission is now being called a recovery.

Reports on social media are coming in that Craig Morgan‘s 19 year old son, Jerry, may have drowned. These reports say that late Sunday afternoon Craig’s son was out with friends tubing on the Tennessee River near Humphrey’s County in Tennessee.

Apparently two men fell off the boat, one was rescued and the other, did not resurface. He was wearing a life jacket.

Humphrey’s County Water Search and Rescue is on scene searching. An official press release has not been issued yet. But, as soon as more details are learned, we will update you.
