The curse is over and Game 7 was one for the record books. The Cleveland Cavaliers did the impossible coming back from a 3-1 deficit against the Golden State Warriors beating the team with the best record all year 93-89 in Game 7. LeBron James along with Kyrie Irving were unstoppable giving Cleveland it’s first title in 52 years! It was such an exciting game!
Also going on Sunday night 80,000 fans were attending The Buckeye Country Superfest in Ohio Stadium featuring Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and more. What a tough decision that must of been for some die hard fans. At the time they bought they tickets who knew the Cavs would be playing in a Game 7. Luke Bryan came prepared wearing the Kings jersey!
As the game was winding down Bryan began to inform the audience what was going on announcing that there was two minutes left in the game and the score was tied. Screams from the crowd went up! Bryan then said that if he didn’t bring the game up again you know what happened. Bryan finished another song and told the crowd the Cavs had a three point lead with 10 seconds to go and LeBron James was shooting free throws. The crowd roared even louder! Bryan knew most were watching it on their phones anyways so he kept playing but in the middle of the song he stopped.
Bryan looked to his band and said “Whoa, whoa,” and the band stopped. He then announced that the Cavs had just won the NBA title and that’s when the crowd erupted!!! One fan tweeted out that you would of thought Ohio State had just beat Michigan. (ouch) Take a look at this awesome moment!
