Little Big Town took some time out of their CMA Fest set at Nissan Stadium to pay tribute to the victims of the tragedy at the Orlando nightclub Pulse. In case you missed it, the band performed their track, “Miracle,” from their new album “Wanderlust,” and although they had planned to play it before the shootings, the song took on special meaning during the show.
“Well, what divine timing that we would wake up to this horrible news this morning and know that we’re gonna sing ‘Miracle’ tonight,” Karen Fairchild told reporters before the show. “For me, music has been the ultimate healer…We’re going to remember the lives that were lost and we’re going to celebrate them tonight. We are not going to let the negative tell us what we’re gonna do.”
