1977 – Glen Campbell’sSouthern Lights” goes gold.

1987 – Eddie “Rabbit” performs at the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the White House.

1990 –The Kentucky Headhunter’sPickin’ On Nashville” goes gold.

1993 – Toby Keith releases his self-titled debut album on the Mercury label.

2008 – Hank Williams, Steve Wariner and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band get inducted on the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville.

2011 – Jo Dee Messina sings the “Star Spangled Banner” before a Nashville Predator NHL game. Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill perform “Cowboy Casanova” during intermission.

2012 – Eric Church’sSpringsteen” goes gold.

2015 – Because it’s 4/20, Willie Nelson announces his plan to launch Willie’s Reserve, his own brand of cannabis! Still in the works, the product would initially be available only in Colorado and Washington.
