It’s no secret that there are serious markups on flowers, activities, and dining out on Valentine’s Day.
That being said, those of us in a relationship often have high expectations of our loved one when it comes to Valentine’s Day. ..
So, here’s a tip to keep in mind this week: celebrate the day BEFORE— or AFTER.
Waiting until February 15 will save you money in every way!
I know for a fact, from working half a decade inside a Dollar Tree, leftover candies always go 50 cents day after.
That stands true for Christmas, Easter and Halloween too!
Working there, a lot of people have told me they use the left-over Valentine’s Day candy, AS Easter candy! (SMART!)
You could also stock up on Valentine’s Day cards for NEXT YEAR!
And if you like FRESH flowers. You wouldn’t BELIEVE the deals on the day after…
Also, think about the wait you’ll have to endure trying to find a table somewhere the night of… Yes, White Castle’s even packed!
Well, there you have it… Just some things to think of!
What are YOUR expectations on Valentine’s Day?
