After stretching his newfound country muscles, Steven Tyler is showing off his acting skills. Or should that be acting “skittles”? The Aerosmith frontman appears in a new Super Bowl ad for the rainbow candy.
Wearing a bathrobe and walking through what looks to be a dungeon hallway, Tyler stops in front of his Skittles portrait. And he’s not too happy with the final product. “That is E to the Z oh twiddley-DEE-sgusting,” he shouts.
The portrait protests, “You haven’t heard me sing-diddly-ding yet.”
Tyler gets the portrait to go higher and higher on his famous “Dream on” line before the portrait sings so high it collapses into a bunch of Skittles at Tyler’s feet.
With the catch phrase “Rock the Rainbow,” Skittles has found a musical way to sell their product.
