Chris Stapleton And Miranda Lambert Both Cover Classic Rock Hits

Chris Stapleton spent New Year’s Eve on stage in Nashville, where in addition to his own set, he came out to join Kings of Leon for a rousing cover of the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic “Simple Man.” The rendition, which was pretty faithful to the original, had Chris and KOL frontman Caleb Followill trading verses.

Airing last week, the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors were set to honor The Eagles. However, Glenn Frey had recent stomach surgery so the band has said that it will push back it’s honor til 2016 so they can accept the award together. In the music business they say, “The show must go on.” So, Miranada Lambert, who was there to sing a cover of their hit “Desperado,” still took the stage to honor them and graced us with this beautiful cover.
