Country Music Legend Kenny Rogers Announces Retirement from Touring

Kenny Rogers shared some sad news to country music fans today.

While visiting NBC’s Today show, he announced he is retiring from touring.

“It’s sadly happy,” he explained.

Details and dates for Rogers’ final World Tour will be announced in the coming months.

“I’ve done this long enough. Sometimes there’s a fine line between being driven and being selfish, and I think I crossed that line when I was younger. I really want to be there with my kids and my wife. I don’t see enough of them. And I have some things on my bucket list.”
