Tower Records Immortalized in New Doc Featuring Former Employee Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen

All things are born and all things die. All things must pass, too, just like the reign of Tower Records stores.

Chronicled in the new documentary by Colin Hanks, Tower Records was once the go-to destination for new music, with a staff able to craft customers a bespoke catalog of their new favorite music at the drop of a turntable needle.

“To be able to go into a store and there were people who knew music…” an interview subject said, “it’s just a missing part of our society now.”
