Letting kids attend means more mouths to feed, which leads to a higher wedding bill. And if you’re planning an extravagant affair, it can be tricky. After all, kids can only be on their ‘best behavior’ for so long. And we’ve all seen the kids who take over the dance floor, end up running around all over the place and making everyone nervous while playing around the ‘cake table,’ right?
But is it really acceptable for couples to say friends and family can’t bring their kids?
I think that this might be a good way to be diplomatic, and handle this dilemma tactfully, by perhaps writing something like “Kids welcome at wedding, with ADULTS only reception following ceremony!”
What do YOU think?
