Luke Bryan, Randy Houser, Dustin Lynch And Thomas Rhett Cover Maroon 5 [VIDEO]

Luke Bryan gave major props to Maroon 5 during a recent performance by inviting show openers Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett and Randy Houser back to the stage for a stripped-down, soulful version of “Sugar.” The impromptu show-within-a-show went down at the Nashville stop of his “Kick The Dust Up Tour” in front of a capacity crowd at the 40,000-seat Vanderbilt Stadium.

For the song, Bryan jumped on the piano, Rhett and Lynch joined in on acoustic guitars and Houser held down the bass. The singers hammed it up onstage, trading harmonies, taking selfies and singing snippets of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” and “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” theme song. Check out the hysterical video footage on the right.

Meanwhile, this sweet surprise for fans is the highlight of a sweet deal for Luke. Reps have confirmed that to us that when Luke sold-out his Vandy show, he joined an elite list of musicians who have also sold-out the field: the Dave Matthews Band, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones and U2.  And get this – Luke the only country act to sell out a concert at this stadium – the cherry on top of that? This sell-out marks his seventh consecutive stadium concert sell out to date.
