Carrie Underwood, Bruce Springsteen, U2 Perform at World AIDS Day Concert [Watch]


Last night, a handful of heavyweight artists, making up what could the year’s most surprising bill, played a special concert in Times Square for Worlds AIDS Day.

Carrie Underwood was the lone country artists on the bill. She sang “Change” and her current single “Something in the Water.”

U2 rallied and showed up, despite an injured Bono, and tapped Coldplay‘s Chris Martin as their frontman for “Beautiful Day” and “With or Without You.” Bruce Springsteen also joined the band during the finale of the show to sing “Where the Streets Have No Name” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”

Kanye West also performed, delivering a nonstop flow of classics including “Power,” “Jesus Walks,” “Black Skinhead,” “Stronger,” and “Touch the Sky.”
