Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott Brags On Baby Eisele’s First Steps!

Lady Antebellumtaking the stage tonight at DTE, can hardly wait to get their new album, 747, into the hands of fans next month. Adding to their excitement is the response they’ve already received from fans about the CD’s first single, “Bartender,” which is a Top Five hit on the country charts. 747 will be in stores everywhere on September 30th.

While the pressure isn’t completely off, all early signs for album success are good. Hillary Scott says one of those signs is how people are snapping up copies of “Bartender.” “iTunes especially, you know, is such a big indicator these days (so) the fact that it’s lived up in the Top 10, you know, Top Five for so many weeks, like since we released it as a single, that obviously means that it’s connecting with our fans and that is so encouraging. That is an indicator because I feel like the rest of the record, even though it’s very different — there’s a lot of different types of songs on the record — they still kind of give you that same feeling that ‘Bartender’ has, that energy and I’m just pumped for them to hear the rest of it.”

Hillary Scott is also lacing up her tennis shoes these days – because her one-year-old daughter, Eisele, took her first steps this past Wednesday night!  According to Hillary’s mom, Linda Davis, “Hillary and her husband, Chris (drummer, Chris Tyrell, with Lady A), were getting ready to load the bus and hit the road for their next show when little Eisele went running to her daddy.”  Davis, who won a Grammy with Reba McEntire for “Does He Love You,” is a proud grandma to say the least and often baby-sits while her daughter is out performing with Lady A.

When talking about the baby’s first steps, grandma bragged, “Her thumb stayed in her mouth the entire time showing she’s got great balance!”  She also gave her daughter, Hillary, some sage advice, “She’s running…put on your roller blades to keep up.”
