Blondes have long been made fun of for their “supposed lack of intelligence.” But those with a fair head of hair can now take heart – scientists have disproved the dumb blonde stereotype.
A study from Stanford University in California proves hair color is completely unrelated to any other trait and dispels the shallow claim that blonde hair signifies lower intelligence. Switching a single ‘letter’ of DNA would turn brunettes to blondes and would have no affect on the brain. But do blondes still have more fun?
I was a brunette for half my life, and I had LOTS of fun! But truth be told, I did notice that once I dyed my hair blonde, I did get WAY more attention from the opposite sex! I actually loved my brown hair, and never messed with it when all my friends were getting highlights or coloring their hair. It was only when I found a single gray hair, that is when I started putting in ‘blonde highlights’ to disguise the gray ones. Over the years, it just got blonder and blonder and now I cannot imagine ever going back to brunette!
I thought about dying my hair brown again, after I saw a photo of a girlfriend who was always a blonde, but looked AWESOME when she recently dyed her hair brown. But not even a month went by and BAM…she as back to blonde!
Do blondes really have more fun, or get more attention from the opposite sex?
