Loretta Lynn, Reba & Bobby Bare to Headline 2014 Johnny Cash Festival
The fourth annual festival, which celebrates the life and work of the country legend, will be held Aug. 15 at the Convocation Center at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark. The event will be hosted by singer and comedian Mark Lowry.
All three headliners are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame (as is Cash).
“If we had any one of these four individuals on the bill, we would have an extremely successful event, but having all four at once is a real coup,” Carter said in a press statement.
The annual Johnny Cash Music Festival benefits the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home Project, which is restoring the home where Cash grew up in Dyess, Ark. Members of Cash’s family are directly involved in that project.
