Blake Shelton And Barry Sanders Help Raise One Million Dollars At Super Bowl Pre-Party

The pictures are kinda funny because Blake Shelton is about two feet taller than comedian/TV host Jon Stewart. But Blake and Jon helped raise some serious money this past Friday night for military veterans at a pre-Super Bowl bash in New York.

Blake played a show at Bryant Park, and Pepsi donated $1 million to stream the show live. All that money went to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which helps injured military vets and their families. You might remember that Bob Woodruff is the ABC news reporter who got wounded by a roadside bomb in Iraq in 2006.

Blake’s concert attracted a whole bunch of sports and TV stars. That includes Aaron Rodgers, Barry Sanders, Brandon Marshall, Drew Brees, Emmitt Smith, Jeff Gordon, Mike Ditka, Joe Theismann and Jerry Rice.
