Debora Evans Price is the author of a religious book called, “Once-a-Day Country Faith: 56 Reflections From Today’s Leading Country Music Stars” and she asked that many country stars one simple question: “What passage from the Bible is the most meaningful to you — and why?” Miranda Lambert‘s answer had everything to do with her marriage to Blake Shelton…check it out here!
Most of us have a passage from the bible that sticks out in our mind, a personal favorite so to speak. We have heard or will remember some of the most common favorites, like:
John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Corinthians 13:4 – “Love is patient, love is kind, it isn’t jealous, it doesn’t brag, it isn’t arrogant….”
Miranda Lambert quickly quoted her favorite scripture, and explains why:
Proverbs 12:4 – “A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown.”
Lambert who is happily married to country superstar Blake Shelton, obviously holds her marriage in high regard, and this particular bible verse serves as a reminder to her as to what matters most in her world! Miranda also says in the book:
“Proverbs 12:4 really means something to me. I love it, I thought about getting a tattoo of it because I want to always know that it’s there. More than a diamond or anything else, it’s really tattooed on my heart. I just realized how important the sanctity of marriage is, how much we needed each other and how good it feels to know somebody has your back.”
What would you have ‘tattoo’d on YOUR heart?
