Florida Georgia Line’s album release week continues in the Big Apple with the duo’s first appearance in the 87th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday. The event airs live on NBC beginning at 9 a.m. in all time zones.
Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are usually back in their respective hometowns with family on Thanksgiving, but this year, Tyler tells us their families are coming to them. “This Thanksgiving’s gonna be different. You know, we were very excited. We got asked to be in the Macy’s Day Parade and (we were) a little bummed first thing cause we knew we wouldn’t get to go home but then (we) kind of thought about it and said, ‘Well, let’s just bring the family up to New York,’ you know? My family has never even been to New York, so very exciting time and they’re excited to see the city and take them out to dinner and just have a good time, so we’re gonna be promoting the record and playing shows and being in the parade. It’s just gonna be a busy but fun time.”
Florida Georgia Line will round out the week with a performance on ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday prior to flying to a sold-out show at the famous Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas that night. Catch Florida Georgia Line on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight. The duo just entered the top 10 on the Country charts with their latest hit, “Stay,” which is included on Here’s To The Good Times . . . This Is How We Roll.
