Fans arrived early to the Fox Theatre in downtown Detroit for the Sunday night show. Ashley Monroe, who opened for Hunter, shared how beautiful the Fox Theatre is with all of her Instagram followers

Hunter Hayes went on to perform a two hour set filled with excitement, high energy, and screaming fans. He dedicated “Everybody’s Got Somebody But Me” to “all the awkwardly single people in the room,” which elicited high pitched screams from the crowd.

The song is a duet with Jason Mraz, who appears on a large video screen behind Hunter. The duet was executed flawlessly and if you had closed your eyes, you wouldn’t have known Mraz wasn’t really there.

We can’t say thank you enough,” before playing “Where We Left Off.” The song was featured on the soundtrack for the movie, Act Of Valor. Scenes from the film were shown on the big screen, as Hunter played the piano during the song.

As fans left the show, they tweeted their happiness and excitement for the experience they just been a part of.

Hunter told the crowd, “we don’t come here often enough. I absolutely love hanging out with you guys.” The next time Hunter Hayes, expect it to be at a larger venue. The demand from fans is there and Hunter’s talent will fill the seats.
