Here’s proof that no matter where you work, cleaning the ‘office fridge’ never seems to be in anyone’s job description. The Environmental Protection Agency is back to work cleaning up the world after the government shutdown, and cleaning up it’s own fridge! Not sure who did the cleaning but there was an item in there that had been there since 1997! How old is the food in your company fridge?
The EPA actually found a 16-year-old can of soup in a fridge at its D.C. headquarters!
The can from 1997 is hard evidence that no one likes cleaning the refrigerator — but it’s also prompted the agency to remind workers that cleaning is everyone’s job. I still have a feeling, that just like our radio station, chances are that nobody will take the initiative to clean it our on a regular basis!
Strange or oldest things you have found in your (office) refrigerator?
