High Price Of Just Attending A Wedding!


Would you or have you ever skipped a wedding because you couldn’t afford to go to it? You know, travel time to get there, a new outfit, a wedding gift. A new survey suggests that nearly half of all Americans have declined a wedding invitation because they simply could not afford to attend. So the question is: Would you want your friends and family to come to your wedding anyway, even if they could not afford to give you a gift?

Since 43% of Americans say they’ve declined to attend a wedding for financial reasons, and the average cost of attending a wedding reached roughly $539 this year, up 60% from 2012. so for those who are getting married soon, or recently married:

Would you prefer that a friend or family member come to your wedding without a gift, or skip the wedding so you could save money or invite someone else instead?
