Cassadee Pope Still Gets Advice From Blake Shelton

Cassadee Pope still looks to her The Voice mentor Blake Shelton for input and advice. In fact, Cassadee says she previewed her brand new album, Frame By Frame, for Blake, who gave her two thumbs up. “I actually sent him a few songs a few months ago and he was just really, really excited about it and he was very sweet. He was really encouraging and told me that he thought that I was starting something new, a new trend, and he was proud of me, and he sat down in my trailer for a while and just chatted with me when I went back to The Voice and that was a big part of the episode where I returned to The Voice on the CMT docu-series. It was him talking to me about everything (and) giving me advice and, yeah, he’s just always been a supportive, encouraging guy.”

The docu-series, called Cassadee Pope: Frame By Frame, airs tonight (Friday, October 18th) on CMT at 10 p.m. ET. The Frame By Frame CD debuted at Number One on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
